Although I had seen every birth video I could get my little hands on as an 8yr old, it wasn’t until 2016 that I attended my first birth. Everything changed from that moment forward, it was as if this calling on my life had finally clicked into place, and my eyes were open to see it!

From that point forward, I threw myself into learning as much as possible about physiology, anatomy, nutrition, and the psychology of birth through educational courses or throughout my college career. I then had the privilege of being community trained and began my anticipated journey of birth work within Santa Barbara county. This deep appreciation for birth has led me into the pursuit of midwifery, currently a student midwife at National Midwifery Institute.

I have had the honor of supporting women & families over the last four years, and consider it an immense blessing to call myself a doula. It is such a privilege to support & holding space for birthers as they welcome their babies to this world. Birth truly is the miracle of life and a testament to what women’s bodies are capable of!

I sincerely believe that pregnancy, birth, and postpartum are some of the most transformative times in one’s life, a vulnerable space that has the potential to heal generational wounds, trauma, and empower women for the rest of their lives! Because of this potential, my passion is to help birthing mamas utilize this unique gift. Each birth journey is different, and each birther has different needs. My goal as a doula is to adapt to those needs and provide emotional, physical, and educational support so that each birther can be fully equipped with the necessary resources to create the environment they desire for a transformative birth & postpartum experience.

When I’m not attending births, you’ll usually find me with my Golden-doodle (Hazel) at the beach, singing shamelessly while running errands or talking about all things birth related with anyone willing to listen! :)
